WHAT:
DCCF will celebrate its 5th Anniversary
Gala honoring Joseph V. Del Raso, Esquire, a Delaware County native
and nationally known philanthropist, with the prestigious Gary Papa
Leadership in Philanthropy Award. The black-tie gala will be formal,
featuring the music of the James Gerard Orchestra. The program will
include a special tribute to Gary Papa, former Channel 6 Sports Director,
recognizing his personal and professional dedication and contributions
to our region during his lifetime.
Special sponsorship opportunities are available and
tickets are $250 per person.

ABOUT DCCF:
In our first five years, DCCF has
given over 90 grants totaling more than $830,000 to our area’s
nonprofit organizations. The 5th Anniversary Gala will primarily benefit
The General Fund of DCCF, which supports our operating programs and
services for meeting the needs of Delaware County.
SPECIAL BENEFICIARIES of EVENT:
The Vincent Del Raso Scholarship Fund
This fund will provide scholarships to Delaware County students who
have financial need and attend Villanova University. Special consideration
will be given to students interested in international studies.
The Gary Papa Memorial
Fund
This fund will provide grants to those causes for which Gary Papa had
great passion: education; sports and youth; community service; promoting
education and early treatment of prostate cancer; and fund for research
and assistance for families impacted by prostate cancer.
