Delaware County Community Foundation (“DCCF”) was created in 2002 to promote philanthropy by encouraging donors who want to support important non profit organizations in Delaware County. Like all community foundations, we are overseen by a volunteer board of leading citizens with expertise in knowing local interests and needs. 

Our mission is to foster local philanthropy by assisting donors in fulfilling their charitable objectives through lasting legacies that fund local causes and that improve the quality of life for residents of Delaware County.

DCCF is a tax-exempt, independent, publicly-supported philanthropic organization operated as a permanent collection of endowed funds for the long-term benefit of Delaware County. DCCF actively seeks new, typically large contributions from individuals, estates, corporations, and foundations. Using interest income from those invested assets, the Foundation can support a broad range of charitable activities that effectively address critical community needs in education, arts and culture, health, social services, community development, environment, and civic affairs.
